This is a controversial project and Shell is trying to keep its name out of the press. That's why the word "Shell" doesn't appear on the Broadwater Energy website. Refer to the project as Shell Broadwater instead of just Broadwater. The name Broadwater is misleading and sounds like a retirement community. Use "Shell's Broadwater gas terminal" or "Shell Broadwater" instead.
Newspapers and blogs routinely publish the flattering toylike artist rendering that Shell's public relations firm distributes. This is tantamount to supporting the project. Broadwater is not a toy, it's bigger than the current Yankee Stadium. Including the security zone it covers more than 1.4 square miles. If you're a blogger use the images below instead.
